Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson was an American actress. Elson began her career on the television industry as a model for children and actress. Her best-known role is Alice Tyler, portrayed by Elson in CBS"Sci-Fi. Andrea auditioned for and was awarded the role of Lynn Tanner of the ALF popular series (1986). Andrea continued working throughout her career on popular TV shows as well as Movies of the Week before taking a break from the entertainment industry to focus on raising her family. Andrea Elson's job as Lynn Tanner, Willie and Kate Tanner's teen daughter was difficult for her. People's 2000 retrospective on Elson revealed that it was hard to make progress as a female in front of the audience on a sitcom. When she was in New York City in 1969 Elson grew up within the world of travel because her advertising father was a salesman who traveled. Andrea was already a resident of New York, Chicago San Diego, as well as Los Angeles before she turned 10. Andrea was in San Diego when she met an agent, and the part she auditioned was selected. Fusco was in favor of the idea, saying that "ALF is two hundred and eighty-five years old. He can drink beer he's old enough. ALF became more and more popular among children, so NBC advised Fusco not to drink alcohol because children were watching. He's a poor role model. Fusco believed that ALF was able to drink alcohol as an adult. In 1995, Fusco was discovered to have cancerous lymphoma. The cancer was removed successfully, and he was in complete remission for the rest of his life. Then, in Englewood New York, at Lillian Booth Actors Home on the 26th June, 2019, the 75-year-old actor passed away due to cancer.
